I have really thick unruly hair that needs to be tamed by being really thinned out I always wanted and edgy "scene" hair cut because it is perfect for me to have thinned out hair while keeping the length. I have been to so many hair dressers and I can't seem to find one who can cut my hair the way i want. So I decided I would take matters into my own hands.
So I started watching self haircut YouTube videos yesterday and I found this video by a girl named Racheldoll. It was amazing don't get me wrong the problem has nothing to do with her, or her videos it was amazing and helpful, I just messed up. I decided that cutting my hair with a razor the way she did hers was my only option to finally get the hair I wanted. So I went ahead and went to Walmart got the little razors she used in her video and came home and started cutting my hair. I got carried away it was like I just turned off my brain and kept cutting. After I was finished everything was fine, I loved the results. I didn't think it was so bad after I cut it, I asked my sister in law and my BF and they thought it was okay, well actually my bf was sorta in shock he loved my "Wonder Woman" hair before and didn't seem to say much to me about my new hair. I straightened it and put it up and I thought it was nice.
Now I am not too sure, only a day later an it seems like there is nothing I can do to style it. It is soo thin and chopped up and short on some parts I can't wear it down! I feel like I look stupid with an 80's haircut gone wrong! I don't know what I am going to do till it grows out I loved how long my hair was now it just so UGLY!! I feel like going to the hairdresser to see if they can do something about it but I can't deal with more being cut off! Short hair on me is just too gross, I NEED long hair. What am I going to do?

you and me both lass! I had beautiful thick long blonde hair, i'd grown it out for years and like you say, wanted an edgy cut that hairdressers just never seemed to get right so i thought i'd do it myself too! and i got exactly the same outcome. I'm not going to the hairdressers to fix it, and mines sooo bad cos i tried to give myself a side fridge, but when i cut, i didn't realise i had all the lower layers caught in the scissors too so i have a massive gap in my hair where it frames my face. i just dont want hairdressers to cut anymore off! i want my long hair back! considering extensions for when i go out... but other than that, i say we grow it out! xx
